Featuring model Aneken Zaldivar [IG] from Mexico City, AOC posts the Chanel Official story on the day — Monday, March 9, 2026 — that creative director Matthieu Blazy delivered another blockbuster presentation of the Chanel FW 2026 collection in Paris.

This very talented, modest man is an absolute treasure in our ‘turn up the volume’ luxury fashion industry. Aneken Zaldivar is yet another intellectual in his model family of empaths. If you haven’t heard, Blazy’s newest girl Bhavitha Mandava — also from Bottega Veneta — went straight to Chanel ambassador last week.

These young women have so much depth to their model personalities — it’s an intense ‘old soul’ spirit that Blazy taps into. He himself projects as a human being with deep empathy and respect for others, including their cultures. In the case of Aneken Zaldivar, she is passionate about nature and animals — but also philosophy, physics and energy.

I think Chanel and Blazy are helping to develop some of these young women. For example, Zaldivar worked with Maria Grazia Chiuri at Dior. And Ina Levy photographed her for the Fall 2025 Erdem lookbook and show.
