Louis Vuitton, the largest luxury brand in the world is firing on all cylinders. AOC mentioned in our last Friday ‘sassy’ and highly-opinionated overview of the new Louis Vuitton Spring 2024 men’s campaign, that we’re building out a ‘wing’ off the AOC front page for key brands.
Louis Vuitton is the first install and it will be followed by Dior. My initial thinking is to keep about 12 mos alive off the front page, then fully archived. We’re going back to 2020.
In the case of Pharrell, his own new archives will be attached to the LV pages. Besides his LV work, Pharrell’s news will include his Black Ambition foundation; his Williams School — a top lab school and private pre-K-8 school in Norfolk; his own portfolio of 10 classes on empathy at MasterClasses; his annual ‘Something in the Water’ in Virginia Beach — which is searching for a new fall date, after terrible spring weather in 2023.
Whatever Pharrell is doing, AOC is tracking.
Louis Vuitton now has a great new renovation project in Paris, as their first hotel.

With LVMH having $160 million invested in 2024 Olympics and a Louis Vuitton brand increasingly wrapping itself around Paris, there is NO way [I was about to say goddess-damn way] that the Arnault family with all their talent, all the LVMH talent, connections and expertise is going to drop the ball on the plan to hold the July 26 Opening Ceremonies on the Seine.
Is 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony "Bold, Audacious . . . and Risky"?
AOC agrees the challenge is huge.
Still, anyone who thinks Bernard Aranult is going down in front of the whole world watching his torrid love affair with Paris, doesn’t understand what really rich people can accomplish in problem-solving.
I stand by my statement that if he has to find an extra billion $$$ in his pocket to solve the crisis, he will do so. Period. ~ Anne
