About the story, Porodina wrote on IG:

“This story began — for me —- inside that tiny shift in thinking — when I stopped actively imagining the worst possible outcome and began to imagine the best one.”

As always the photographer is hoeing the soil of her creative garden, digging much deeper than the top soil. Elizaveta’s work always leads to a Jungian investigation of the creative project in front of her. Porodina is a New Humanist who exists not only to roam through her own response to the creative DNA before her. The photographer lights the match — or raises her lantern, considering history’s propensity for burning women at the stake as witches.

Elizaveta Porodina embraces the ‘Less I, More Us’ creative philosophy, which is not the one employed by Sun Kings. I just had a Claude interrogation on this topic of creative combustion, as it applies to Porodina and using the mycelium metaphor.

Speaking of mycelium, it was a rich dig about Porodina’s garden and I’ll post it in New Humanism. LOL. I swear to the goddesses that I had not looked at the bodice cage of flowers below, until this moment.
