Blackpink's Lisa Chats Vanity Fair US About Next Stop as Las Vegas Showgirl
/In early June 2026, Thai mega talent Lalisa Manobal, aka Blackpink’s Lisa, is the most followed Asian woman on Instagram, with 105 million followers. Vanity Fair US [IG] and select international editions catch up with the entertainer in LA in an interview with José Criales-Unzueta.
Lisa is styled by Dara in the fashion story ‘The Life of a K-Pop Showgirl’. It channels Lisa’s debut in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show last fall, which she admits was a quiet release on her own public sensuality. Heading for Las Vegas this fall, Vanity Fair highlights this sensual evolution in Lisa’s own self-awareness.

Lisa has prominent ambassador and partnership roles at:
Louis Vuitton, as a house ambassador since July 2024 and key face in campaigns.
Nike, where she is both an athletic ambassador and lifestyle spokesperson with a long-term contract.
Bulgari, since July 2020, as a global ambassador, with prominence in collections like ‘Serpenti’.
Shiseido, as a global ambassador for the Japanese skincare brand’s signature Ultimune serum line.
MAC Cosmetics, since 2020 as the first K-pop idol to become a global face for the makeup brand.
Amazing Thailand, as a global tourism ambassador.
Kith Women, where she served as a guest designer for a capsule collection with Kith Women.
With a portfolio like this, no wonder ‘Money’, the second single off her debut album, Lalisa, is the first song by a K-pop solo artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify.
Lisa will put another sparkle shower into her cup of accomplishments later this year, when she becomes the first K-pop artist with a Las Vegas residency, performing at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in four dates across two weekends in November. All tickets sold out in 10 minutes.
Producer David Bernad met the K-pop idol while casting the third season of HBO’s ‘The White Lotus’ says that Lisa is basically the Princess Diana of Thailand.”
In the interview, Lisa speaks about her friendship with fellow Bulgari ambassador Priyanka Chopra Jones. “It was fun to connect on that level,” the Indian actor says, “and also as two girls from a different part of the world who have to navigate those cultural differences. There is a silent kinship of support that you build with someone who’s navigating the same waters,” she says. “She’s like a little sister to me.”
