Kendall Jenner Reaches New Heights in L’Oréal Paris x Mugler Fall 2025 Campaign
/Supermodel Kendall Jenner takes flight in a ravishing new L’Oréal Paris x Mugler campaign set in the City of Lights. Jenner became a L’Oréal ambassador in July 2023.
The French fashion Mugler house joins forces with L’Oréal Paris to launch the limited-edition re/edit fashion ensembles and colour cosmetics inspired by the Mugler archives, in a tribute to the late designer’s passing in January 2022.
In October 2019, L’Oreal acquired the beauty and fragrance assets of the Mugler and Azzaro brands from Clarins Group in a deal that closed on March 31, 2020. That deal also includes the Mugler fashion house.
Portuguese designer Miguel Castro Freitas will make his Mugler debut with his Spring 2026 collection at Paris Fashion Week October 2026. From a business perspective, the L’Oréal Paris x Mugler collaboration is meant to symbolize a passing of the torch to Freitas.
Vogue Business reports that it’s been 15 years since Mugler has issued a makeup collection.
Designer Manfred Thierry Mugler’s SS 1997 couture show was titled ‘Les Insectes’ and featured multiple models in stages of avante-garde, Kafka-inspired metamorphosis.

More than one Mugler fashion re/edit supports the new L’Oréal Paris x Mugler campaign. Jenner’s black and white, thigh-baring gown [below] is inspired by the SS 1998 ‘Jeu de Paume’ couture collection.
While AOC is a Jenner fan, we have commented on her almost motionless, bored-with-life approach to modeling. In the campaign video directed by Colin Solal Cardo [IG], Jenner communicates far more personality mystique than the cool and alluring, femme fatale persona living in the celebrity-favored Mulholland Estates of Beverly Hills.
Kendall activates a series of ‘come hither’ smiles and ‘I’ve got this’ gestures that stand out from her past campaigns. Her definition of chic red ensemble re/edit [below] is inspired by the FW 1997/1998 ‘Les Chimères’ Couture collection.

The new makeup collection includes a cushion foundation, a liner, a mascara, lipsticks, radiance sticks and eyeshadow palettes, will be available in the US, China, Europe, Latin America and Africa. “It’s a way to push the envelope in two major areas: L’Oréal Paris’s mission of accessible luxury and creativity, with both extraordinary looks and product innovation,” says Olivier Monteil, SVP of global image and content at L’Oréal Paris.
Innovations include the cushion foundation — a liquid foundation soaked into a sponge-like cushion within a compact case, a format popular in Asia — and the lipstick, which features hyaluronic acid.
