Harper's Bazaar France's Perfect-Timing AOC Post with 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony

How perfect to share ‘Vue sur la Plage’ from the August 2024 issue of Harper’s Bazaar France [IG], 30 minutes into the opening ceremonies for the 2024 Paris Olympics. We’re not at the Seine, but the location will do just fine.

Enter Louis Vuitton Stage Left

LOL, the amazing torch bearer just flipped into a Louis Vuitton workshop, making the cases of medals and trophies. Nice . . . but the French socialists will be screaming.

Hey, you get a few perks for your $160 million investment as a lead sponsor of the games. Jesus, what a beautiful moment. The dancers are wearing very utilitarian-looking clothes — working people folks. As always Vuitton is perfect pitch.

On to Notre Dame

The torchbearer running/dancing his way across the rooftops was just ringing the bells at Notre Dame Cathedral for the first time since the fire. And now, we’re seeing the French Revolution playing out.

The France-American Alliance

Between the overnight presidential candidacy of Kamala Harris — who I backed in 2020 and can’t believe what happened this week — and now these Parisian images and sounds of the city I love so much, Anne is fired up and ready to go.

Swifties and cat ladies worldwide are swinging into action. “No joke”, as our warrior for common people’s liberty and selfless president, Joe Biden would say.

Can’t wait for the US Olympic team led by proud Americans Lebron James and Coco Gauff, elected by the US Olympic team to represent our great country. I must sign off, as yours truly will be sobbing her heart out soon.

Thank you, Paris!! Thank you LVMH!! Thank you Louis Vuitton. Vive la France. Love forever and ever and ever. ~ Anne
