Karlie Kloss’ To Do List

The list includes Kode with Klossy, devoted to hands on tech camps for girls across America; and more recently, Gateway Coalition, focused on reproductive care for American women under assault with the overturn of Roe. In short order Gateway has directed more than $3 million in donations to abortion clinics in the Midwest.

As a teenager, Karlie was trained to escort patients into Planned Parenthood St. Louis — often with her mother. In a personal capacity, Karlie has supported ballot initiatives this year in Florida and Missouri, that would add a right to abortion until fetal viability into state constitutions.

AOC is proud to say we’ve charted Karlie’s goals for humanity for years — because we also lead with values, not trends. Kloss supported Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020. We assume she will step up hugely for Kamala Harris, now heading up the 2024 presidential Democratic ticket in the fight against Project 2025.

Married to venture investor [typically progressive business projects], Josh Kushner, the couple has birthed two young children Levi Joseph, born in March 2021, and Elijah Jude, born in July 2023.

As we speak, Karlie is stepping into her new role as CEO of Bedford Media, overseeing the soon-to-be-revived publications, i-D and LIFE magazines/media. In 2020, Kloss led an investor group in the acquisition of W Magazine.

Supermodels Karlie Kloss and Christy Turlington are fast friends for years, and Turlington has mentored Kloss — including into motherhood. Turlington founded Every Mother Counts — a global, maternal health initiative, almost 15 years ago.
