Madison Headrick Nahmad's Tiffany-Rich 'Naked Beauty' Sinks Venice

‘Daring’ is not a word AOC would typically attach to Tiffany & Co. But we have said repeatedly that LVMH and Bernard Arnault’s children have a sophisticated, nuanced, brand-positioning ear to the mindsets of younger, monied adults.

Senior LVMH management, including Mr. Arnault himself, listen and take seriously the informed business instincts of the children — now adults involved in a range of LVMH brands.

This ‘daring’ fashion story featuring model Madison Headrick is presumably heavily-funded by Tiffany, and absolutely approved by them. They have worked together previously, but this collaboration devoted to the Tiffany Lock and Tiffany Knot collections is pure brilliance. Anne will explain.

Power Couple: Hector Muelas and Alexandre Arnault

This week Hector Muelas arrived at Tiffany & Co. as chief brand creative director. This man is a branding star with stratospheric credentials, many earned at LVMH. But also two stints at Apple and most recently Expedia Group.

Muelas’ most recent LVMH assignment was at Rimowa, the German luggage brand. AOC hasn’t precisely determined to the months, the overlap between Muelas at Rimowa and the young CEO of Rimowa Alexandre Arnault, who assumed the position at age 28.

What everyone knows is that Arnault’s’ear’ for branding to a progressive values client base was superb. He also institutued significant initiatives to make Rimowa more sustainable by creating a lifetime, problem-solving relationship with customers.

The youngest Arnault is a prodigious business talent who caught AOC’s attention early. He is now Executive Vice President of Product and Communications at Tiffany & Co.

This New Cafe Society Has No Clothes

Earlier in September Anne compared a new Rimowa luggage commercial to a post Alessandro Michele, early spring Gucci Valigeria commercial. We will see the new Gucci tomorrow and expectations are high — especially with the involvement of the fabulous model Daria Werbowy, returning to work with Phoebe Philo, but now also Gucci.

I’m sure it’s pure coincidence that Daria isn’t wearing clothes either in Werbowy’s new campaign built around the chunky gold Gucci Marina Chain jewelry.

The arrival of Hector Muelas at Tiffany & Co and now this very racy, divinely-sensual Madison Headrick fashion story lensed by David Roemer [IG] reaffirms my understanding of a top-level LVMH strategy in marketing to a progressive, younger, monied clientele.

Madison Headrick Nahmad

Madison Headrick married early this summer; she is now Madison Headrick Nahmad. In a fashion world obsessed with Sofia Richie Grainge, the May 2023 Headrick Nahmad nuptials on the island of Sardinia didn’t create as much buzz.

Reports are that the couple was very happy with a more planned to be private experience. Headrick wed billionaire art heir Joe Nahmad in Sardinia, taking over the Hotel Cala di Volpe, a stunning resort in the vibrant Costa Smeralda region where rooms go for $3500 a night.

The guest list included Serena Williams, Tom Brady, Irina Shayk [yes, that’s where they met], Tommy Hilfiger, Leonardo DiCaprio. It’s an A-list crowd.

Madison Headrick Nahmad is another young talent with a skincare business. Hers is Care.e.on, a line of skincare products for travel.

My point in is not to compare Headrick Nahmad to Richie Grainge. Both young women are successful on their own.

Rather, it’s to emphasize that 1) sensuality is back, thank goddess; and 2) this gorgeous fashion story ‘Madison Headrick Naked Beauty’ has much strategic thinking behind it. Who knows. We may see Madison next in the Robb Report.

AOC loves it! I can hear the muttering about destroying the Tiffany & Co. brand; but it seems to me that this cast of well-heeled, successful characters knows exactly what they are doing. ~ Anne
