Dioriviera Collection 2023 Creates Brand Awe & Respect With Beverly Hills Hotel Opening

Dior’s annual Dioriviera Collection 2023 is in high gear with a global concept so sophisticated that it’s close to becoming its own subbrand and not a summer capsule. The attention to detail boggles the mind, especially in locations like the Beverly Hills Hotel, where Dior is in residence until September 4.

This year, the collection spanning ready-to-wear, accessories but also outdoor furniture, games and even a surfboard will be available in global locales that include Bali; Cyprus; Kyoto, Japan; Lake Como, Italy; Phuket, Thailand; Seoul and these images from Beverly Hills.

Photographer Ellen Won Unwerth shot all the fashion images and the Beverly Hills Hotel provides images of Dior’s takeover of the pool and cabana areas, as well as the Dior shop housing all this divine product. AOC remembers when this capsule was 10-20 items.

Life-sized versions of the lush vegetation and wild animals populating the French house’s signature Toile de Jouy motif will look sculpted out of sand in the windows and on the facades of this summer’s destinations.

Sopisticated jaws have dropped over the sand castles-like facades and animal sculptures — the same animals as in the famous fabric.

The locations very from total takeovers like the Beverly Hills Hotel that even include a Dior spa to stand-alone pop-up shops of varying durations to a seasonal installation in an existing retail location.

Guests of the Dioriviera spa can look forward to exclusive poolside treatments that feature the L’Or de Vie skin care collection, as well as a custom made Dioriviera fragrance with fig and rose notes.

Treatments will be taken within the Les Jardin de Reves Dior Spa Cabana, with four custom treatments in total. This includes two facials: the L’Or de Vie Miracle antioxidant treatment, and the contouring and cell stimulating Prestige Haute Precision, and two massages: the slimming New Look Body, and the deeply relaxing Constellation Body.

The deck chairs and outdoor cushions, the towels — oh wait, that paper parasol in the pina colada seems not to be Dior. This is what you call a total immersion in Dioriviera summer, and that is precisely the experience Dior wants you to have.

At the back of the Beverly Hills Hotel boutique, 'J'adior Beverly Hills' appears to have been handwritten just like on the beach. Consider how far this concept has come since its first beachware popup in Mykonos in 2018. Dior has also launched its first winter popup, landing at the Cheval Blanc hotel in St. Barts.
