Margot Robbie on Playing Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey, for V Magazine #123

‘Bombshell’ star Margot Robbie covers The New Hollywood Issue of V Magazine #123. Paul Cavaco styles the Aussie-born star in images by Chris Colls. Robbie’s costar in ‘Bombshell’ Charlize Theron teams up for the interview, written by Marissa G. Muller.

Next up for Margot Robbie is ‘Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn’. It will be her company LuckyChap’s highest-budget endeavor to date.

Robbie adores Harley, who debuted on film in David Ayer’s ‘Suicide Squad’. Harley herself was birthed by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, and first appeared in Batman: The Animated Series in September 1992. Explaining why Harley Quinn is such a great character, Robbie describes the acting adventure this way:

Harley Quinn has a unique comic book character, largely because she's a non-superpowered villain. She's also mentally unstable, and suffers from psychotic delusions. As a result, Harley's headspace is a wild place to be in.
