Dree Hemingway gets Rebecca Dayan on the line minutes after watching Dayan's new '60s nun movie 'Novitiate'. Breathless, Heminway says: "It’s such a fucking great movie and you’re amazing. I like that you’re the little minx. "

Not only is the movie about a nun, but in the age of Harvey Weinstein, the movie was written and directed by Maggie Betts. The cinematographer Kat Westergaard's employs a warm but restrained visual examination of the lives of the young women, in which Dayan plays a supporting role to a more central figure Margaret Qualley as the young novitiate Sister Cathleen.

Dayan talks with Hemingway about her art that inspired her during her immersion on nunneries. Indeed, the cast did spend time with nuns to make their roles more believable. AOC is digging into Dayan's art separately, after learning that it's an equally interesting topic to her movie role.

Jean Campbell Wears Bright Beauty Lensed By Ryan McGinley In India For W Magazine December 2017

"In the cold, nearly winter months of 2017, just about everyone could use a bright, cheerful pick-me-up"writes W Magazine. "So why not turn to the sartorial-equivalent of an endorphin rush: vibrant, rainbow-hued clothes. Project some happiness with colorful dresses, sweaters, and outerwear that will stand out in a sea of neutral hues. Proenza Schouler made pink cool for the downtown set with chic, abstract prints, while at Céline, designer Phoebe Philo crafted glorious watercolor pattern, made edgy when paired with black lace. Gucci and Missoni, both maestros of rainbow colors, did what they did best yet again, while Raf Simons made the case for a floral bucket hat. And what better backdrop to showcase the season's best colors than Jaipur, India's so-called Pink City, known for its vibrant landscapes. Here, model Jean Campbell, takes you on a rainbow-fueled journey."

Pharrell Williams All Stars Light Up Vogue US December 2017, Shot By Mario Testino

We couldn't be happier to see Pharrell Williams, holding court with Imaan Hammam on the cover of American Vogue's December 2017 issue, shot by Mario Testino. Williams shares the coveted cover slot with Meryl Streep in an issue dubbed 'Then & Now'. As US fashion magazines all reflect a move into mindfulness, Vogue takes a look back at the great minds and brilliant artists who've made impactful changes in culture, beauty, politics and fashion.

Life in Trumplandia needs every shot of positive adrenalin that we can get.  Imagine waking up on Sunday to find Trump calling you a "hater and a fool" because you are genuinely concerned about Russian involvement in the US election. Adding insult to injury, our illiterate president writes " There always playing politics . . . " rather than the correct "They're always playing politics . . . ". It's exhausting, frankly.

The creative genius Pharrell Williams digs deeply into his post 2016 election soul as an avid Hillary Clinton supporter, reflecting on life in Trumplandia and his evolving brand of activism.  Then Pharrell lights up the pages of Vogue in this Mario Testino editorial styled by Lucinda Chambers featuring Afrodita Dorado, Dilone, Lineisy Montero, Janaye Furman, Alton Mason, Samile Bermannelli, Aiden Curtiss, Aya Jones, Selena Forrest, Joan Smalls & more.

Mary J. Blige Wears Her Iconic Style In The Edit Nov. 9, 2017, With Netflix 'Mudbound' Bringing Her Oscar Talk

In her editorial styled by Tracy Taylor, Blige wears the street style she's famous for. Yelena Yemchuk is behind the lens, flashing Blige in what is one of many new editorials to come.

"A lot of the things we do in a relationship are in the name of love. You want to save it, so you do stupid stuff and give him what he wants, knowing you shouldn't. You create a monster, Blige explains.

She added: 'I learned life is the greatest teacher. You gotta ask, what did you do to end up here? That's when you can start to heal. And I realized that I must have hated myself, because I didn't deserve to be treated like that.”
