Speaking only as an American woman, Vogue Greece’s words do not apply to us. “Unrestricted femininity” sounds like tradwives — although yes, Anne agrees that there’s much more ‘Unrestricted femininity’ in fashion-world. And we love it.

“Power, diversity and self-determination” definitely set off alarm bells in an American moment where our Vice President Kamala Harris was called a DEI hire in our recent presidential election.

The narrative reminds me of the big Vogue France March 2022 cover story announcing that we’re now living in a post-feminist world where women have all the rights we need. It was not my favorite Vogue cover story of all time. ~ Anne
