Models Diana Carl, Jiwon Ra and Megan Rodrigues are styled by Angel Macias and Hannah Krall in a poetic, natural-backdrop fashion story ‘When Joy Looks Like Childhood Wonder and The People Around You’. The shoot is split over two locations in upstate New York and also Mexico.

New York-based photographer Lærke Rose Xin Xin Møllegaard [IG], also founder of Brooklyn-based Elseker Studio, is behind the lens for Vogue Philippines [IG] October 2023. Smartly, VP shortens the title to ‘Happy Hour’.

Representing the New York team, Hannah Krall told Vogue Philippines: “I think we lose our sense of joy and adventure with dressing up as we get older—so with this story I wanted the models to convey a purer and more naïve self-expression with the looks I selected.”

Stylist Angel Macias in Mexico chose to build on the happiness already surrounding them, inspired by the soil on which they are standing. “It was an excellent opportunity to be more present and be able to discover and share the amazing times with the team.”
