Dior Men Spring 2023 Inspiring Collab with Venice, CA Talent ERI: Eli Russell Linnetz

Dior Men designer Kim Jones shares images from the Spring 2023 Lookbook, styled by Melanie Ward and worn by French model Douta Sidibe. Venice, CA-based collaborator and multi-hyphenate Eli Russell Linnetz [IG] worked with Jones on the spring men’s collection.

In 2020, Vogue wrote that the impact of Linnetz’s “lo-fi, high-emotion imagery can be felt across the entertainment industry, coloring the aesthetics of music videos, celebrity photography, and a generation of selfie takers.”

The artist, photographer, director, and stage designer has worked with the top names in fashion, art and entertainment from Kanye West to Lady Gage. As for his clothes and ERL brand, the consensus seems universal that there’s enormous potential.

In describing the Spring 2023 Dior collaboration between Jones and Linnetz, the Dior designer said:

“We have worked with lots of different people on our collections, but this time I wanted to work with someone in a different way; I wanted somebody to see Dior from a different angle. With Eli Russell Linnetz, not only do I like his work but working with a younger designer on Dior Men and seeing things from his perspective, felt incredibly inspiring. It was both familiar and revelatory; reaffirming why we both dreamed about working in fashion in the first place.” ~ Kim Jones

From the Dior website, “The silhouettes of the Dior Spring 2023 men’s capsule collection dreamed up by Kim Jones with ERL – guest designer – transpose the unique atmosphere of Los Angeles into couture.”

We must also call out the spectacular millinery by Stephen Jones.
