Christian Louboutin's 'Greekaba' Capsule Supports Greece's Together for Children

London-based, Athens-born writer on culture and tech Nassia Matsa [IG] steps away from her work for the Financial Times, Wired and seven Vogue titles, assuming her third role as a Loubou [Christian Louboutin] [IG] muse,

José Castellar [IG] photographs Matsa with key pieces in the ‘Greekaba’ capsule collection, created with Greek artist and illustrator Konstantin Kakanias.

Each piece imagines Louboutin in Athens with fictional character Miss Tependris and her faithful poodle Pepe. Patterns include the new and vivid 'Loubieye' print which reimagines the traditional ‘blue eye’, believed to protect the owner against the evil eye.

The designer is known for his love of travel, releasing “seasonal cabas” regularly that honor places and their heritage and include a philanthropy contribution.

This year’s beneficiary of Christian Louboutin’s contribution is ‘Together for Children’ (TFC).

AOC shares a December 2021 Greek Reporter focus on ‘Together for Children’ and its nine member organizations all working to provide immediate and effective support to children, young adults with disabilities and their families in need.

UNICEF also focused on the very serious problem of lone refugee children in Greece in December 2021.
