Gillian Anderson Returns To 'The X-Files', Talks Strong Women In Nico Images For The Edit

Actor Gillian Anderson returns to TV this month as Dana Scully in 'The X-Files'. There's no reason to believe that Sculy has given up her power suits, even if Anderson's shoot for The Edit reflects a more modern, pared-dpwn style. Agent Scully's fashion sense is  slightly square', says Gillian. She's a Banana Republic sweaters woman.

The 5/3" 47-year-old also plays Detective Supermintendent Stella Gibson in BBC Two drana's 'The Fall'. alongside 'Shades of Grey' actor James Dornan. There was an aghast media backlash against her for propositioning a younger male police officer in the first episode. Anderson says she doesn't fancy playing Scully again in the way she ssoared in her role of Stella in 'The Fall' or her award-winning role as Blanche DuBois in 'A Streetcar Named Desire' in London's West End.
