Romina Herrera Malatesta styles film director Gia Coppola for Eric Guillemain’s editorial for Interview Russia’s August issue. The daughter of Francis Coppola and niece of Sofia was profiled in Harper’s Bazaar May issue, on location in Las Vegas. This paragraph sums up her fashion preferences:

“Most people think of Las Vegas and they think of extravagance,” Coppola reflects. “But it’s really a mix between fantasy and laziness.” She wonders aloud if the same could be said about her own style. Her mother, Jacqui Getty, sums up Gia’s look: “Very elegant but with an edge. Between my background in costume design and her aunt Sofia, not to mention traveling and experiencing so many cultures, she really is a stew.” Indeed, Gia hardly falls prey to the usual L.A. girl stereotypes. Comfort is her ultimate calling card. “Most girls love the highest shoes, especially in a town like this,” she says, laughing. “And I admire those girls, but I can’t do it. If I’m not comfortable, I just look awkward.”
