Lauren Hardy | Timmothy Lee | 'La Rose Noire' | Private Sitting

Photographer Timmothy Lee taps into the intersection of fashion and nudity this morning, turning his lens to model Lauren Hardy. Talking about the place of nudity in fashion, Timmothy Lee says:

What really makes a person fashionable is not what one wears, what brands they wear, but it’s actually the identity of the person - a fashion statement one’s making through dress code, lifestyle and ideas.

We add that embracing the essence of our sensuality — cool or hot — is essential to discovering our beings, our inner energy and perspective on being alive.

This is not an American approach to style and fashion but one that flourishes in many countries in Europe, South America and Africa. Evolving New Eroticism has been my beat for years. The Internet is breaking down the barriers in fashion worldwide, so we at least ‘see’ and experience the values of other cultures.

Read my latest thoughts on New Eroticism and news of my Carrie Leigh’s NUDE magazine interview. Coming next week, a new feature of women interviewing other women about nudity and body love. We blast into existence with a fabulous dialogue and gorgeous nude images of two women over 60, both with doctorate degrees and both with major success in their professions.

Who said taking your clothes off is only for ‘bad’ girls. In 2011 we set out to change that perspective once and for all. Anne
