We agree with comments read online about the poor cub’s brain being harmed by cigarette smoke. The science is irrefutable that this is so, and we are on record against smoking and fashion’s persistent use (more this season) of women with cigarettes.

With all our disclaimers, we believe this editorial works in connecting women of style with global concerns, even in its self-absorbed humor. French Vogue never takes life all that seriously and yet manages to make significant statements. This was one of them.
