Inked Magazine | Sexy Tattoo Women | Is Paris Burning

‘Paris Is Burning’ Inked MagazizneI admit to not being a great lover of total body-covering tattoos. It’s an ancient tradition, but I will never forget being chased at 18 by seven tattooed guys on Harleys, until I finally had a car accident. It was an amusing game to them.

Young people are consumed with artful tattoos and of course, Angelina Jolie’s are just fine by me. This is my tattoo-loving problem.

This fashion shoot for a revived Inked Magazine is in small circulation, thanks to Voyons Voir. He’s shy on the details, and I can’t even credit the photographer. Let me know, and I’ll add the names.

Looking for info on the ‘Paris Is Burning’ editorial, I found this editorial with Todd Weinberger, the creative director of Inked Magazine. Talking about his 2009 tattoo media revival, Weinberger says:

2009 was a rollercoaster ride. Trying to put 10 issues out a year with an editorial staff of 3 is brutal! But also the most fun I have ever had. I learned a lot about tattooing, and rallied an amazingly talented group of photographers, stylist and artists I support for what we’re doing. We’ve more than tripled our circulation and newsstand sell through, and it seems like everyone has heard of Inked. 2010 is going to be a bigger year for the magazine; we hope to get even bigger celebrities into INKED and I want to increase our exposure.

Inked Magazine seems headed towards an interesting, creative visual future, although they’re having a few problems on Facebook. Here’s the link to Inked Magazine.
