Eniko Mihalik | Richard Bush | Modern Industrie Goddess

After a creative splurge of futuristic design in the sixties, fashion returned to the Middle Ages, not to recover for decades. Just as America refused to look for alternative fuels, fashion played it safe for years.

We had “Dallas” fashion, big oil rigs and Hummers on our brains. Modern values prevailed.

Initially, we might think that the debut issue of Industrie is picking up where Paco Rabanne left off. Not so.

Photographer Richard Bush, stylist Sarah Richardson and model Eniko Mihalik have created a new attitude around Paco Rabanne’s designs, meshing them into the mica of cliffs overlooking the beaches of Bahia.

Eniko Mihalik becomes a 21st century, organic goddess and not a space cadet. Modern mesh returns to the world of knights in shining armor. The photography is not technicolor but black and white. Reality is blurred and gainy — precisely the world the world in which ancient goddesses live today.

However, we predict the resurgence of goddesses and are actively working to promote their comeback. Anne
