Beyoncé is beyond beautiful, styled in drop-dead elegance by Franck Benhamou and captured by Alexi Lubomirski as ‘Queen B’ for the September 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK. Starring as the cover girl in September’s ‘Strictly Sexy’ issue, the pop diva smolders in Armani, Hermes, Lanvin and Alaia.

Saying she’s very positive about turning 30, Beyoncé tells Harper’s UK:  “This is such a pivotal moment in my life. I’m transitioning as a woman, and I’m finally able to express myself as I am … I can’t wait to start the next chapter.”

The pop star shares thoughts about her friendship with Gwyneth Paltrow, saying “She pushes her boundaries all the time. You go to her house and she makes you feel like you never want to go home. She is what I strive to be one day.”

The magazine writes that Beyoncé also talks feminism, performing in Egypt and the thrills of working with Lady Gaga.
