Consumed by the ‘virginal’ mood and beauty of Anja Rubik, photographed by Swedish photographer living in New York Camilla Akrans, for the March issue of Vogue Japan, it was a few moments before I said ‘woman photographer’.

The photography is about Terry. Thinking about the emotional poverty in his photographs has caused me to reflect on the question of whether women tend to be more empathetic behind the lens.

Like a new flirtation, I want to know more about this photographer, an artist has exquisitely captured femininity, beauty and the complexity of sensuality in these photos.
