In the interview Jasmine and Josephine share news of their fitness Instagram Joja. Born in 2016, Joja hopes to present an alternative view the modeling world sometimes has when it comes to obsessive overworking out, eating disorders and sometimes an excessive preoccupation with the woman in the mirror. “We want to try to get away from the myth that all models do is starve and show up,” says Skriver.

“We’re not claiming to be trainers, but we want to help spread awareness and build a community,” Skriver adds. “We want to be here to motivate.”

In the coming months, Joja hopes to start a YouTube channel and launch product lines. The two women also see an opportunity to talk about female friendships — an opportunity that AOC loves.

“We don’t ever fight,” Skriver says, despite their differences. And in the process, they open each other up to new experiences.
