Steven Chee Captures Lorena Rae In 'A Rae of LIght' For Grazia Australia March 2019

German-born model Lorena Rae is styled by Aileen Marr in ‘A Rae of Light’, lensed by Steven Chee for Grazia Australia’s March 2019 ‘The Cult Issue’.

Rae left a bucolic idyll called Diepholz, located in the middle of Germany, to follow her star in New York. Interviewed in Grazia Australia, the model speaks of her online profile, saying “Luckily, I haven’t experienced too much attention just yet.” 

On the topic of handling the spotlight Rae tells Grazia it’s important “to have a lot of people behind you who support you mentally and help you to laugh about these kinds of things because these days it happens easily to each and every single one of us”.

Now 24, Rae got quite a lot of attention about her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018 walk. In 2017, she first made headlines in 2017 when she was linked to Leonardo DiCaprio. The romance was never officially confirmed, despite multiple sightings around New York.

Rae appeared in the relaunch of VS swimwear and brushes off comments about Victoria’s Secret not being an empowering for women brand.
