This entire editorial is not working for me at all. I understand the no makeup look, modest fashion, and getting away from flash fashion editorials. Typically I defend Gigi when the fashionistas are hounding her fashion shoots. Goodness knows I promote women photographers and authenticity.  In pursuing these worthy goals of stripping out all the gloss, it's easy to get a flat tire, and imo this editorial is an example of good intentions gone awol. It has a couple bright moments but overall, it's a lifeless dud, an uinspiring clunker.
