In a Spring 2015 campaign season with few standouts but lots of copycats, the Isabel Marant campaign hits paydirt. Lensed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Natasha Poly delivers poses designed only for the most flexible bodies. The result is powerful and very artistic — AND not easily confused with the muddle of real people, selfie-inspired ad campaigns littering the fashion landscape this spring. One designer does it, and now we have an advertising rodeo.
