Victoria Beckham By Alex Lubomirski For Allure Magazine March 2014

Designer Victoria Beckham speaks candidly about her rise to being a confident fashion powerhouse and her husband David, who is reported to be focused on bringing the world’s greatest soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo to America. The Beckham family may move to Miami as David develops his new Miami franchise. The decision wouldn’t take a lot of art-twisting with Victoria.
“Living in America for six years was the happiest I think I’ve ever been,” Victoria told Allure in a March issue interview. “Yeah, it was much more accepting for a woman to have a career, as well as a man. And I loved it.”
Lensed by Alexi Lubomirski at a private home in West London, with styling by Allure creative director Paul Cavaco, Beckham creates today what Allure calls feminist fashion, clothes that highlight the wearer’s self-esteem and confidence:
“I find that even the simplest of dresses, if it has the correct seaming and the correct fabric, whatever shape or size you are, it can change the way you hold yourself.” In late 2014, her first brick-and-mortar store will open in London, allowing customers “to see the brand through my eyes, as opposed to being able to buy what the retail partner buys. The buy will be what I decide.”
