Nicole Kidman Shines At The End Of A Tough Year, Lensed By Chen Man For Grazia China December 2014

Actor Nicole Kidman is ready to write off 2014. “Personally, (it’s been) really really really hard,” Kidman told the Guardian Australia, speaking at the Australian premiere of Paddington in Sydney, earlier this month.
Kidman looks magnificent and unusually intimate in Chen Man’s luscious images for the December cover story from Grazia China. Still looks are deceiving, if one connects with the human side of Kidman’s life these recent months.
The screen star sufferred the devastating and unexpected loss of her father, clinical psychologist Antony Kidman in August. Her February Oliver Dahan biopic of Grace of Monaco was critically panned in February.Kidman admits that it’s been a long time since she really liked a role she was playing.
Perhaps the tide is turning. Written for children, Kidman plays the vole of villain — the evil taxidermist Millicent — in ‘Paddington’, a film doing well at the international box office.
2015 is another busy year as Kidman stars opposite Robert Pattinson in Werner Herzog’s ‘Queen of the Desert’ and opposite Hugo Weaving and Joseph Fiennes in the Sundance-bound Strangerland. Australian director Kim Farrant will make her feature debut, and Kidman is thrilled to work with a first-time female director, writes The Guardian.
