Photographer Flóra Borsi Explores Nudity & Self Identity In IRÉEL

Hungarian photographer and digital artist  Flóra Borsi delves deeply into themes of self identity, relationships, emotions and dreams. Photo manipulation is key to much of her art, focused often on popular culture’s representations of the female body — and her response. Borsi’s images possess a fine art quality, inspired by techniques and sensitivity, while remaining modern and urban. It’s clear also that the artist’s imagination touches many topic concepts moving from the splendor of coffee to inserting her own image into some of the world’s most iconic photographs.

Flóra Borsi does not use digital manipulation techniques in her series IRÉEL. The technique clue lies in her last photograph. After looking at endless images of nude women in fashion and self-promotional,’I am the naked muse’ editorials, I appreciate Borsi’s fresh perspective to her view of nudity and beauty in the female body. ~ Anne
