Cole’s latest sustainable enterprise is a rubber jewelry collection. Brazilisn rubber trade is a force against deforestation. In creating a demand for rubber, Cole argues her collection helps keep the forests alive, rather than cutting down the trees. The activist recently wore a rubber dress designed by Vivienne Westwood to the Met Ball.
