Sensuality takes on many visual expressions, with no single prototype. Yet, there is such a thing as faking it with models taking on sensual roles in photo shoots that simply don’t fit their personalities. Faking innate sensuality is almost as bad as faking an orgasm. All but the most oblivious and obtuse human minds recognize the failed attempt. Similarily, certain photographers — Karl Lagerfeld for one — should not attempt to express sensuality in photo shoots. It’s not in his DNA.
Lucky for us, there’s no faking it with either photographer, Peter Soulis or Aussie model Elyse Knowles. The bronze, blonde goddess created by beauty artist Karen Bicchierai will only get better in her sensual woman role with age. Knowles innately understands its impact on large numbers of people. Peter Soulis knows how to capture authentic sensuality, using nature’s backdrop in the extreme to accentuate her message.
