Lesha Lich takes a stretch with ‘Single Bilingual.’ Editorial fashion can be odd at times, confusing at others and disturbing on occasion. With the flood of fashion art that hits the scene every day, photographers are continuously pushing the envelope and trying new things. Some times, like here, it just doesn’t click. The fusion of model, makeup, outfitting, setting and style has to make some sort of sense and it doesn’t take a veteran fashion editor to feel when it does. When the marriage doesn’t hold out, and the elements sit on top of one another, denying cohesion and drawing attention to their outlines, it leaves a new fashion writer, such as myself, quite frustrated.
