As goddess lovers and tellers of women’s stories, we adore Sarah Burton and the splendid way in thish she has advanced the Alexander McQueen brand, while making it truly women-friendly. Lee McQueen had ‘issues’ with femaleness that have lapsed under Burton. Strict rigor remains, the ferocious queen bee still rules at the helm of McQueen imagery, but the ambivalence is gone with regard to female nature. Thank you, Sarah Burton.
