La Perla Spring/Summer 2014 Ad Campaign By Mert & Marcus

LaPerla — once a great lingerie brand — is once again resetting its image and strategy. Jean Emmanuel Bourget, vice president of global commercial operations, has outlined a three-part strategy that includes a new ad campaign, redesigned stores and a renewed focus on design with bespoke services and upgraded customer service.

The Spring 2014 ad campaign features Cara Delevingne, Liu Wen and Malgosia Bela, lensed by Mert & Marcus and directed by Fabien Baron. Bourget explains that the La Perla campaign is designed to convey “multiple styles of femininity.” Bela’s “charismatic, knowing, adult femininity” spotlights La Perla’s signature Heritage corset. Liu Wen wears “zen” elegance with a sheer body suit designed for modesty with strategically placed lace. Delevingne wears the black Sparkling Jasmine lingerie set, conveying “youthful and rebellious magnetism.”
