Irina Shayk In 'Pura Raza' By Giampaolo Sgura For Vogue Spain December 2013

No horse known as ‘Pura Raza’ appears in Giampaolo Sgura’s editorial of a sexy Irina Shayk for Vogue Spain’s December issue. Throughout its history, the Andalusian — aka Pura Raza Española — has been a prized war horse, used as a tool of diplomacy by the Spanish government and kings across Europe, writes Wiki.

“Strongly built” and “compact, yet elegant” the breed is known for their “intelligence, sensitivity and docility”.  Stylist Claudia Englmann makes the fashion case for Irina being a Smart Sensuality outdoors-loving Andulusian — except for the docility part. Smart Sensuality women are calm and focused, but not docile in activist issues and especially women’s rights. Irina’s knife confirms the clarification. /Hair by Franco Gobbi; makeup by Benjamin Puckey
