There’s a scene in Die Another Day where James Bond fights the villain in a fencing duel. It is this scene that inspired Akin Abayomi to create Spy Game, a shoot he both styled and photographed.
Starring model Theresa Claire McCrory, the full shoot by Akin Abayomi is focused primarily on the static sexuality of la femme and her lingerie. It’s an interesting concept and far from a literal interpretation of the actual inspiration. More than anything, I expect more tension and drama, more flinging of the static limbs, a fencing pose perhaps? Weapon in hand?
I love Madonna to death, but I agree her performance in Die Another Day is better left to singing. Anne
