Clinton Campaign Goes Aggressive Against Republican Debate Obsession With 'A Race to the Bottom on Women's Health and Women's Rights'.

Hillary’s Clinton’s presidential campaign released a retro-mood, light-hearted 89-second Web ad that hits the very real obsession that Republicans have with defunding Planned Parenthood compared to addressing the very real issues that concern Americans.

The 89-second Web ad flashes a series of critical issues on the screen — paid family leave, making college and child care more affordable, equal pay for women and protecting voting rights — followed by breaks of silence Wednesday when candidates weren’t speaking. In reality, none of these issues were addressed in the three-hour debate, which focused on the moderators trying to pit the candidates against each other. Adding chirping crickets to the audio/visual mix is the perfect touch.

Clinton Criticizes GOP Debate

Clinton: Republican debaters ‘really don’t have much else to say’ CNN

Speaking in an exclusive interview Thursday with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on “The Situation Room,” Clinton criticized Wednesday night’s Republican debate to “the usual back-and-forth — political attacks, the kinds of things you say when you’re on a debate stage and you really don’t have much else to say.”

She blasted the GOP candidates in the 2016 presidential race for failing to address student debt, equal pay for women and income inequality.

In a written statement to reporters, Clinton said the Republican debate continued the party’s “race to the bottom on women’s health and women’s rights” because “every single candidate on stage has pledged to defund Planned Parenthood if they become president.”

She added, “Repeating false statements doesn’t make them true, no matter how many times you do it.”

2016 presidential candidate Clinton took her demands a step further Thursday, calling on House Speaker John Boehner to not shut down the government over Planned Parenthood.

Hillary Tweets Spanish To Trump

Hillary Clinton hit a home run on Jimmy Fallon last night and pundits are saying “more, more, more”. In real time, Hillary was trolling the GOP debate on CNN last night.

When asked by CNN’s Dana Bash during Wednesday night’s GOP debate about his criticism of Jeb Bush for speaking Spanish on the campaign trail, Donald Trump responded:

“We have to have assimilation to have a country. We have to have assimilation. I’m not the first one to say this, Dana. We have had many people over the years for many, many years saying the same thing. This is a country where we speak English, not Spanish.”
