In achieving his dream of building a church of trees, it’s relevant that New Zealander Barry Cox owns Treelocations, a tree transplanting business. Inspired by the many cathedrals and churches he saw in global travels, Barry Cox devoted four years of his life to construct this church on his property near Cambridge, NZ.

Cox originally imagined his tree church as a private retreat from society, but the beauty and authentic inspiration of his gardens and ode to the glory of nature gained a reputation in the general public.
