US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton Hospitalized in New York with Blood Clot

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been hospitalized in New York-Presbyterian Hospital with a blood clot stemming from her recent concussion and stomach virus. Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines says that her doctors discovered the clot during a follow-up exam today (Sunday) and that she is being treated with anti-coagulants.

CNN is reporting that doctors say it’s unlikely that the blood clot is in Secretary Clinton’s brain, given the use of anti-coagulants.
