Trumplandia: Trump Berates & Disrespects Australia & Mexico Presidents In Leaked Phone Transcripts

We do not condone the leak to The Washington Post of Trump's calls to his Mexican and Australian counterparts. While Trump's egocentric me-me-me, disrespectful dialogue with our close allies is appalling, it's impossible for any government to function with his or her every word leaked to the press.

Having said that, the transcripts are disgusting to us and a reflection of an American president who has no diplomatic skills and no respect for our closest allies. He is a national embarrassment to about 70% of Americans, and his poll numbers are plummeting.

Trump can jet off for the second time in two weeks to West Virginia, where they love him.But working as closely with West Virginia progressives as HWN does, I can assure you that they are making major inroads into Trump's base.

When 'The Art of the Deal' was written, it was never taken seriously by the legitimate press as a business bible, rather than a fanboy book for Donald Trump. As a highest-level Fortune 100 exec who has negotiated with businesses all over the world, and holding one of the biggest brands in her design director hands, I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER treated my partners in other countries with the disrespect shown by Donald Trump. Trumplandia: Serious Legal Jeopardy Looms With Confirmation That Trump DID Plan Strategy For Handling Don Jr Meeting Reveal

Based on Tuesday's acknowledgement by White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, it seems that there's lot of truth in the Washington Post's new assertion that the president was deeply involved in writing the particulars of a statement about his son Donald Trump Jr's meeting with a Kremlin-connected lawyer  “primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children”.

Trump's involvement in planning the strategy on how to handle the media on the breaking story was vehemently denied on all five Sunday news shows, by one of his attorneys Jay Sekulow.

Misleading the public or the news media is not a crime, but advisers to Trump and his family told The Washington Post that they fear any factual information that suggests the president is seeking to hide information about interactions between his campaign and Russians almost inevitably will draw additional scrutiny from special counsel Robert Mueller III.

In spite of hiring an expanding roster of lawyers, Trump, is increasingly acting as his own lawyer, strategist and publicist, often disregarding the recommendations of the professionals he has hired, reports multiple sources to WaPo.

“He refuses to sit still,” the presidential adviser said. “He doesn’t think he’s in any legal jeopardy, so he really views this as a political problem he is going to solve by himself.” In his own eyes, he is innocent of any wrongdoing so his actions can't possibly boomerang against him. 

Trump has said that the Russia investigation is “the greatest witch hunt in political history,” calling it an elaborate hoax created by Democrats to explain why Clinton lost an election she should have won.

48% Of White Men Continue To Support President Trump, As Record Poll Lows Haunt His Presidency

In the new Quinnipiac Poll, 48% of white men continue to believe that President Trump is doing a good job running the country. The poll was completed last Thursday, May 4 prior to the Comey firing.

While the 48% approval among white men represents a decline from April where 53% approved, clearly white men dominate and prop up President Trump's reckless actions. They are his strongest cohort of supporters.

Understand that -- according to all polls -- white men "get it" last, in understanding President Trump's reckless attempts to plunge America into the abyss. What a conundrum: white men dominate our politics and our government. And guess who gets the truth last, according to polls? White men.

What better argument do we have for ending white men America's boys club, as Trump works on their behalf to roll back the gains of women, gays, and people of color over the last 50 years. ? It's a national disgrace, and we're waiting for the voices of America's white men to tackle this subject loud and clear -- while some Dems argue that the party should end a focus on identity politics -- and get cozier than ever with white men. ~ Anne
