ELLE Brasil Vol. 16 Celebrates 36 Years with Four Covers and 11 Models by Nicole Heiniger
/Carol Trentini and Samile
ELLE Brasil [IG] Vol.16 celebrates its 36 years anniversary with four covers making a unified, bold statement around Brazil’s top models for the May 2024 issue. The magazine was shuttered in fall 2018 after 30 years in print, as part of a wide-ranging restructuring at struggling parent company Editora Abril. The lapse was short-lived and ELLE Brasil was back in business with a July 2019 issue — if not sooner.
Photographed by Nicole Heiniger [IG], with fashion editing by Lucas Boccalão, the ELLE Brasil 36- years anniversary model celebration includes [above] Caroline Trentini and Samile; in the second image [below] Isabeli Fontana, Barbara Valente and Valentina Sampaio; in the third, Luciana Curtis, Sheila Bawar and Shirley Mallmann; and on the fourth, Carol Ribeiro, Ana Claudia Michels and Fernanda Tavares.
Anne of Carversville is digging deeper in support of this ELLE Brazil fashion extravaganza. We’re searching for a worthy fashion story or important brand campaign not previously published on AOC for our super-successful, AOC archives renewal project. That means the cutoff is December 2019 in the old fashion channel.
We will continue to update this covers page, running its twin off AOC Daily with new fashion stories like Caroline Trentini and Isabeli Fontana in ELLE Brazil Vol.16 up next; and the relevant new pre-2020 content added to the archives.
