The Chloé Portraits by Inez and Vinoodh Capture 'Old Aristocracy' Style for FW 2025
/Chloé shares portrait of nine models — well-known and new — who walked the F/W 2025 show, and are lensed by Inez and Vinoodh [IG] wearing key design looks for fall, fresh off the runway.
Australian model Libby Taverner [above] opened the Chloé F/W 2025 show with creative director Chemena Kamali drawn to “a feeling of Britishness, old aristocracy — she’s in her castle” in the company of “cherished historical” Victorian jackets and great-granny’s fur stoles which are all the rage right now.
Dare we call it Bloomberg glamour? Jazz Age — British style? “They’re pieces that I’d want to give to my daughter—heirlooms,” was the designer’s word choice.
Besides Libby Taverner, models include Ava Shipp, Awar Odhiang, Binx Walton, Eniko Mihalik, Jacqui Hooper, Maelle Swaelens, Meghan Collison and Zhao Ziqi. Elodie David Touboul styled the Chloé Portraits photoshoot with hair by Gary Gill and makeup by Karin Westerlund.
Addressing how the new collection stands proudly against an increasingly volatile and ominous political landscape, Kamali responded to press questions:
“In a time like this, the most important thing is to stay true to yourself and your own values,” Kamali said. “You can’t change the world, but you can be yourself. And that’s something that flows into my process at Chloe. Our woman is not a stereotype. She’s multifaceted, and I feel it’s important to always make sure that she can be herself.”
