Miu Miu saunters into their Spring Summer 2020 campaign with photographers Liz Collins and Lynette Garland behind the lens. The mythology of an all female artists’ colony is the inspiration behind the shoot.

Models Bella Hadid, Lila Moss, Alexis Sundman, Bo Gebruers, Jordan Leftwich, Kaila Wyatt, Lea Julian, Patrycja Piekarska, Pia Ekman, Tang He, Tomiwa Adeshina, and Xiao Wen Ju make up the ensemble.

More like a Hollywood movie , Miu Miu also enlists collages from ‘Call This Number’s’ Steve Mackey & Douglas Hart, veterans from Miu Miu’s SS2019 campaign. Robbie Mailer-Howatt’s videography talents are in the mix, with styling by Katie Grand. / Hair by Anthony Turner; makeup by Miranda Joyce

The Miu Miu shoot takes place at Casa Corbero, featured on More With Less (M+RE WITH L_SS) in August 2018. Miu Miu shares their perspective:

Built by the Catalan artist Xavier Corberó, situated in Esplugues, close to the outskirts of Barcelona, his ‘casa sublim’ is characterised by elaborate, playful forms that still adhere to a certain strictness, discipline and utility.

These notions are reflected in the Spring Summer #MiuMiu collection itself, where creative freedom and expression – at times spattered and hand-painted, with mismatched buttons, ‘collaged’ ruffles, done and yet undone – is contrasted with the discipline of form, silhouette and utility found in the examples of workwear and the uniform, motifs #MiucciaPrada turns to once again. Here it is ‘woman’s work’ that is reflected, both domestic and artistic, in the shape of pinafores, aprons and overalls.
