'Winter in Chang Chun' for W Magazine China Art Issue 2025 Lensed by Feng Li

As the capital of Jilin Province, Changchun is the second largest city in Northeast China. Home to about 5 million people, the city hosts a winter celebration called the ‘Changchun Ice and Snow Festival’. Celebrating its 28th season over our recent holidays, numerous ice and snow sculptures, performances, and attractions at the "Changchun Ice and Snow New World" create a magical experience for all ages.

Chinese New Year thrill-seekers have an abundance of options at the park, with over 70 ice and snow slides, including a 1,314-meter-long aerial snow drift and a 520-meter-long ice slide.
