The team ventured to the Brazilian district of Trancoso, a stunning bohemian beach district in Porto Seguro, Bahia famous for its rustic-chic charm, pristine coastline, and relaxed luxury. A former 16th-century Jesuit village and 1970s hippie haven, today the area has evolved into an upscale, eco-friendly retreat loved by international travelers and celebrities.

Up Close and Very Personal with Kate Moss

It’s often the case that life’s most special gifts cost very little and are given freely. I could not resist pulling these precious words from Rita Lazzarotti’s [IG], translated via ChatGPT.

One assumes Lazzarotti is speaking, but a phrase or two cast a bit of doubt. To survive a rough translation with poetic clarity is a gift back to Kate from a life she touched deeply. I hope she reads it.

It was 4 days in Trancoso. Two of them just with her. And stories to last a lifetime.

I had heard the expression “I got goosebumps when I saw her”, but I thought that was all it meant. Until we held hands to introduce ourselves. My body turned into a hedgehog and everything I had ever seen, read and imagined about her began to exist right there, in front of me.

She reset me. She made me remember everything I had gone through to get here. Wondering whether it was worth it. Whether the road is still worth it.

She does everything in her own time. In fact, time seems not to exist for her.

In my rush to do everything (photo, video), she saw me admiring a little box on the table and began to explain what it was. An Eastern pendulum that, through dowsing, could identify my aura, my energy field.

And time stopped.

I will never forget when we finished a photo and, the very next second, I looked to the side and she was already in the pool, slowly swimming, wearing only the bottom of her bikini.

“Neither too cold, nor too hot. The perfect water.”

She is free from everything that holds us back: time, judgments, hang-ups.

She lives in the now.

She is Kate Moss.
