Incredible Woman Cindy Crawford Covers Porter Magazine September 2026

Porter Magazine [IG] recently toasted Fall Fashion, NYFW and Cindy Crawford, for her September 2026 cover story. The high wattage gathering happened at Straker’s, the new Italian eatery at 59 Grand Street in Soho, New York City.

Cultured Magazine wrote that Cindy was the official reason for the many evening toasts, but it was also a moment for Net-A-Porter to flex their muscle by getting the keys to Straker’s before its public opening — and then deliver a beautiful people cast with plenty of options of where to go that night.

Porter also expanded the supermodel lexicon, writing about their cover star:

“At 60, Cindy Crawford remains one of the most monumental models of her era”.

Charlotte Blazeby styles the fashion shoot, with Cindy posing in Carolina Herrera, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, The Row, Tom Ford, Valentino Garavani and more. Charlie Miles provides creative direction with photography by Yulia Gorbachenko [IG].

Kassia Hastings interviews Crawford from the Gerber Point Lodge on Lake Joseph in Ontario, Canada. The Crawford-Gerber family has spent summers at their lodge for the last 22 summers.

Reflecting on Hastings’ question about ‘stepping back’ now, at age 60, Crawford explains that she occasionally thinks about it, but has no desire to act. “Modeling really is a skill that you get better at. It’s probably like a football player or a soccer player having to choose when they want to retire. You’re like… but I still like it.” And Crawford isn’t about to send the message to other 60-year-old women . . . that it’s time to step back.

Crawford and her daughter Kaia Gerber have one of the tightest, love fest oozing-with-respect relationships in fashion. In a daughter/mother twist, they both did the runway for Gucci’s show in New York City last May.

“Kaia was very supportive and proud of me for doing it because she knew I was like, ‘Wait, is this a good idea or a bad idea?’ and it was such a big show.” From a pre-show lunch to the afterparty, Crawford’s daughter was by her side, just as Crawford had been for Kaia in her early modeling days. “I think seeing me do something that I had some nerves about is good for her to see.”

Reflecting on an event that could cause a reshuffling of her priorities, Cindy shares that she really is looking forward to being a grandmother. She knows that neither of her kids is anywhere near ready to facilitate her desire to expand the regulars retreating to Gerber Point Lodge for family down time, but Crawford is open on the fact that SHE is ready for grandmother duty.
