Dior at Selfridge’s January-February 2026

Dior is marking the launch of Jonathan Anderson’s debut collections with a nearly two-month takeover of The Corner Shop at Selfridges. The installation of both women’s and men’s collections from Jan. 8 until Feb. 28, 2026, marks the first time that Dior Women and Mens collections will reside in such close public retail space proximity.

Dior Ladies and Their Book Totes

Fendi creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri created the famous Dior book tote in 2018, after discovering a buried sketch of a tote by past Dior creative director Marc Bohan.

Jonathan Anderson’s book totes, which will be at Selfridge’s are inspired by titles Dracula, Ulysses, In Cold Blood, Les Fleurs du Mal, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Madame Bovary and Bonjour Tristesse, titles based on his own favorite authors and topics.

In a complete break from his predecessor Chiuri, only one woman writer made the cut. Good God, we may be in Trump country before we know it with the ‘new’ Dior; I so hope not.

I did just query Christian Dior’s background, being reminded that he was a gallery owner in the 1930s before becoming a courtier. Monsieur Dior and his friend Jacques Bonjean used their gallery — which carried both Picasso and Dali — to launch the Argentinian Surrealist painter Leonor Fini’s first solo exhibition.

Fini became the inspiration for an early Chiuri Dior couture collection and was apparently quite a maverick.
