Russian supermodel Natasha Poly [IG] is among a select group of models who have built enduring careers in the fashion industry. Poly has graced more than 60 covers of Vogue and is considered an industry icon.

Her Tribe: ‘Big Models of a Different Era’

In 2020 then Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccoli included Natasha Poly among “big models of a different era".

As a supermodel, Poly has also been very comfortable in her own skin, as noted in her CAP74024 N.21 cover. She has posed nude countless times in fashion editorials while always being taken seriously by the world’s top fashion designers.

The supermodel was a favorite of Frida Gianni, Creative Director of Gucci from 2006 to 2014; and she appeared in many campaigns AOC describes as ‘sizzling’. Natasha Poly didn’t need to take her clothes off to achieve that sizzling effect.

Rather her poses — owning the space around her — gave Poly great presence. As confirmation of that reality, the supermodel appeared in many H&M campaigns, clothes on.

In 2011, Natasha Poly married Dutch businessman Peter Bakker. The couple has a daughter, Aleksandra Christina, born in May 2013, and a son, Adrian Grey, born in April 2019. The family lives in Amsterdam.
