Ashley Graham and Emma Grede: ‘Side Hustlers’

Ashley Graham is the first person to tell you that she doesn’t have a whole lot of time for soirées these days. Not mentioned in her introductory list of adjectives is Graham’s new Roku reality series, ‘Side Hustlers’ with cohost Emma Grede.

Grede is a founding partner with her husband Jens Grede, of Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand Skims, where she is now chief product officer. Grede is also CEO of size-inclusive, B-corp brand Good American, founded with Khloe Kardashian.

Grede has four children with her equally successful husband Jens, now CEO of Skims. Grede the dad was the cofounder of Frame Denim, which he launched with Erik Torstensson in 2012.

A Beauty Primer for Kids

Ashley Graham also has a new children’s book ‘A Kids Book About Beauty’, published by a new division of Penguin enabling kids to explore big topics in a new and engaging way. It’s called A Kids Co.

The brightly-covered, 34-page book offers to-the-point affirmations — "I am bold. I am beautiful. I am brilliant." — words that resonated with Graham as a young girl.

The Opinions of Mothers

Ashley Graham has an unusually close relationship with her mother Linda, who was devoted to teaching her about acceptance and self-love.

We renewed the 2018 Ashley Graham x Swimsuits for All campaign, shot in Morocco with Linda Graham. The daughter did a role-reversal, with Linda wearing and posing in a string bikini in a national ad campaign, at age 53.
